LEGO was a big part of my childhood. For me, the most enjoyable part was always the building experience. As my collection grew, our living room coffee table slowly transformed into a Star Wars diorama, featuring sets such as 10195 Republic Dropship with AT-OT Walker and 6210 Jabba's Sail Barge.

As I entered high school, other hobbies and activities gradually took priority, and LEGO took a back seat. Even so, I still vividly remember receiving 21118 Minecraft: The Mine.

Years later, while in college, I discovered BrickLink, the world's largest marketplace for LEGO on the secondary market. Through BrickLink, I began collecting again and reconnected with the hobby that had meant so much to me growing up.

In 2021, I came across a great deal on multiple copies of two retired sets: 70657 NINJAGO City Docks and 75220 Star Wars Sandcrawler. Those sets became the very first products sold by Brick Belly on BrickLink and Shopee.

In 2022, Brick Belly expanded into individual LEGO parts. At its peak, the store carried over 100,000 parts and became the 3rd largest BrickLink store in the Philippines. Around 70% of orders came from Filipino builders and collectors, while the remaining 30% were shipped internationally.

In 2025, BrickLink ceased marketplace operations in the Philippines due to government tax compliance requirements. Around the same time, selling on Shopee became increasingly difficult as fees increased and regulations grew more restrictive.

After months of thinking about the future of Brick Belly, I decided to build this website. My hope is that it will serve as a permanent home for Brick Belly - a place where both new and longtime customers can browse retired and current LEGO sets, minifigures, and individual parts for their own creations and MOCs.
